So after getting bladdered up at the Giraffe Club (during the day, no less!), we decided to roam the streets to try and find a bus stop to the next club. The bus ride was an adventure all in itself. We sang the cockroach song, and made a few Russian people laugh (and pissed off a plenty; a Russian lady was yelling at us).
Anyways, while looking for the bus stop, there was a group of young stern-looking Russian patrolmen roaming the streets. For some reason Livia decided to pester these guys for a picture. Livia goes at it for about half-an-hour and the Russian guys just stood there with no emotion. During that time I was thinking in my head, “Oh shit Livia. Do you want to go to the gulags? We are in Siberia! We are fucking surrounded by the baddest of the bad of gulags!”.
Anyway, one of the patrolmen relented and we ended up with the picture above. Who knew sober Russian men had some smile in them?
